Caritas Microfinance Bank Holds a Launching Ceremony

Caritas Microfinance Bank held a launching ceremony on 20th April 2017 at the bank's head office at Cardinal Otunga Annex, Nairobi. The ceremony was graced by His Eminence Cardinal John Njue and the Central Bank deputy Governor Sheilla M'Mbijiwe, who represented the Treasury Cabinet Secretary. In attendance were the banks stakeholders,the board of directors, the invited bank customers,representatives, Caritas Nairobi Officials, staff and officials of the various self help groups under Caritas Nairobi.

The ceremony started with a Holy mass at 9.00 am at the Holy Family Basillica led by His Eminence Cardinal Njue. Thereafter the ceremony proceded to the venue outside banks head office at Cardinal Otunga Annex. The guest were welcomed and treated to speeches from the Caritas Microfinance Bank Chairman, Mr, Patrick Kinyori. This was followed with speech from His Eminence Cardina John Njue and finally the cheif guest , Deputy Central Bank Governor ,Mrs. Sheilla M'Mbijiwe who  read a speech from Cabinet Secretary Treasury, Mr. Henry Rotich.

After photo session, His Eminence Cardinal Njue and Deputy Governor Central Bank Governor cut the ribbons to mark the launch and unveiled the official plaque.

The guests proceeded to Intercontinental Hotel where the ceremony continued with presentations, entertainment and speeches from the Chairman of the board and the bank CEO Mr. George Maina.
